The two experiences

The Essential is R1,800 per seat. The Signature is R2,100 per seat. Prices are in rands.

Sessions

A session runs about two hours and has 12 seats.

Holding a seat

During checkout a seat is held for 10 minutes. The seat is confirmed only when the payment clears. You can pay by card or instant EFT through PayFast.

Your bikini

Each bikini is custom-made from the colour and the sizes chosen at booking. The person who books is responsible for giving the right sizes.

You take your bikini home on the day. Anything left behind can be collected, or couriered at your cost, within 30 days.

Changes and refunds

Bookings close 14 days before the workshop, when our seamstress starts, and size and colour lock then. Before then, changes are made by email. A name transfer is free up to 48 hours before the workshop, and the bikini stays as originally ordered. You can move your seats to another date with at least 14 days' notice. Because each bikini is custom-made, bookings are non-refundable, apart from a payment that clears after the 10-minute hold has run out and the seat has gone, or a session we cancel. If we cancel, you can move to any other date free, or take a full refund.

Where a refund applies, it is processed within 5 working days of approval, and your bank may take a few days more to reflect it. Refunds go back to the original payment method through PayFast.

If a payment clears after the 10-minute hold has run out and the seat has gone, that payment is refunded. Where a refund applies, it is processed within 5 working days of approval, and your bank may take a few days more to reflect it. Refunds go back to the original payment method through PayFast.

If we cancel

If we cancel a session, each guest chooses between moving to any other date free, or a full refund.

No-shows

If you do not arrive, there is no refund and no move. The bikini is still yours. You can collect it, or have it couriered at your cost, within 30 days.

Late arrivals

The session runs to schedule and cannot be extended. Our team will help you catch up when you arrive. More than an hour late counts as a no-show.

Age and alcohol

Guests 16 and over are welcome. Under-18s must be booked by a parent or guardian. Alcohol is strictly 18 and over, and non-alcoholic options are always on the table.

Photos and filming

We photograph and film every workshop for SÁLTI marketing and socials. A guest ticks a box at booking if they are happy to appear. Anyone who has not, or who tells the host on the day, is kept out of shot.

Under-18s are booked by a parent or guardian.

Liability

You attend at your own risk. SÁLTI MADE is not liable for personal injury, or for loss of or damage to your belongings, except where the law says otherwise.

Groups

A group is booked by adding each guest inside one booking and paying together.

A group of 10 or more is a private event, at the same per-seat price. The guest of honour (the bride or birthday girl) gets a free upgrade to The Signature. It can be held at the studio or anywhere in Gauteng. The price per seat is the same everywhere. Outside Gauteng, travel is quoted separately at cost on the enquiry and waived when the booking is big enough to carry it. It is confirmed on a 50 percent deposit and invoiced manually.

Arrival

Please arrive 15 minutes early.

Birthday codes

A birthday code is personal to one email address. It is single use, 10 percent off one seat, and valid for 30 days from the date it is sent. It cannot be combined with another code.

The law

The law of South Africa governs these terms.
